Here is a new challenge, where you can combine your accounting knowledge and your desire to work in a fast-paced proactive environment to deliver a difference. We are looking for a talented Accountant to join our Head Office finance team which manages and assists a dynamic group of companies which encompass Stephen Hill Motors Ltd, Future Finance and associated entities.
Working closely alongside the CFO and reporting to our CFO and Company Directors, you will be an integral member of the finance team. Key responsibilities for this role include accounting processing functions to preparation of management financials and reports, payroll, IRD and statutory returns, supervision of IT and telecommunication systems and other administrative and analytical duties as required.
To succeed in this business, you will be a hands-on operator and have superior skills in financial management with a clear track record of success, from working within a busy environment. You will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills and possess integrity and expertise which inspires confidence and the respect of others.
This role will require:
• Experience with Xero, integrated accounting systems and preparation of management financial statements and reporting
• Payroll, GST, FBT and RWT experience
• Strong analytical skills
• Experience with accounting data entry and reconciliations
• Strong excel and word skills
A tertiary degree in accounting or finance would be preferred, but not essential; however an extraordinary record from working within chartered accounting or from a corporate finance environment will be equally valued.
